I am the country boy, I started working on radio North Tees co- hosting with Simon Fenwick before I got my own country show.
I love listening to country music , I also like the 70s and most of the 80s.
I was born in Suffolk where there are lots of farms and countryside and folk music and country music was all around me.
It wasn’t until 1979 to 1980 when I was in hospital and Dr Hook , Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers were played a lot that got me really into country music.
My country show is new and old country, with line dancing music from the USA, as well as British and Irish artists , which I hope pleases all listeners.
I like to help out charities , I like this charity because I am the treasurer, dj and I like to try and get shout out messages from groups , for all patients and staff that’s in hospital’s of NorthTees and Hartlepool.
I also help in raising funds so we can keep going playing music to all the staff and patients at NorthTees and Hartlepool hospitals.
